Two kilometers from Pietrasanta, in the locality of Valdicastello, stands the house where Giosuè Carducci was born in 1835. Declared a national monument in 1907 and purchased by the Municipality of Pietrasanta in 1912, it preserves memories and relics of the poet.
The residence proposed for sale is the southern extension of the house; built in the early 1800s, it was the subject of an integral conservative restoration in 2018 after a study that lasted over a year to search for materials and finishes that could evoke the past with a look at the present.
Currently it is a welcoming and refined charming B&B, with a covered area of 240 square meters divided into 3 master suites and 2 suites, all with an en-suite bathroom, a spacious entrance, a living room, a service bathroom and a kitchen.
The property is accessed through a green courtyard while in the back we discover the delightful planted garden framed by the Baccatoio stream.
